ScanEx R&D Center to take part in Map World Forum 2007
ScanEx R&D Center will participate in the Map World Forum 2007 that will be held in India on January 22-55, 2007.
On the occasion of 10 years of Map India series of conferences, GIS Development is announcing a global meet of geospatial leaders known as Map World Forum. MAP WORLD FORUM will be the largest event in the global geospatial data business over the past few years. Map World Forum will be a combination of activities in the form of seminars, workshops and panel discussions, plus a huge exhibition. Around 2500 participants are expected.
ScanEx R&D Center President Vladimir Gershenzon received a special invitation from Map World Forum organizers to take part in the «Disaster Managment» workshop, dedicated to coordination of joint efforts and technologies of international RS operators aimed to monitor and forecast natural disasters, to do real-time imaging of emergency areas and to mitigate damage. ScanEx Center will take part in the exhibition too.
On January 24, ScanEx company will open a workshop «From Pixels to End-Products: Introduction to Software Product Line by SCANEX» as per the Forum agenda. The workshop is dedicated to remote sensing data processing up to the level of thematic end-products. The entire software product line, worked out by ScanEx Research & Development Center, will be demonstrated to the audience. These powerful but easy-to-use software products make it possible even for beginners to efficiently process the remote sensing data for a wide range of applications.
