New detailed town images of EROS satellites

In the conditions of the almost clear weather in late May over the Eastern Europe, the EROS program satellites (Earth Resources Observation System) carried out a successful imaging of towns in the European part of Russia and CIS.
Between May 15 and 28, the Moscow ground station of the ScanEx Center acquired EROS A satellite images (resolution 1,9 m; swath width 14 km) of large Ukrainian – Dnedropetrovsk and Kharkov, and Russian cities – Moscow, Ufa, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Tolyatti. Imaging of the Bataisk town (Rostov Region), Gelenjik airport and Penza surroundings was also done.
On May 28, the EROS-B satellite (resolution 0.7 m, swath width 7 km), delivered images of the central and eastern parts of Ufa - the capital of Bashkortostan.
EROS imagery is acquired according to the license agreement between ImageSat Int. and ScanEx Center.
