ScanMagic® provides for direct access to data without image import for many data formats. It works with a lot of generic, remote sensing and GIS formats (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PPM, NITF, HDF, GeoTIFF, ESRI HDR, ENVI HDR, ERMAPPER ECW, ERDAS IMG, PCI AUX, ARCINFO GRID, ATLANTIS MFF, USGS DEM, CEOS SAR, EOSAT FAST, NOAA L1B and many others), including all images received by ScanEx ground stations. The application provides for processing of data with radiometric resolution of up to 16 bit from such sensors as LISS-III, WIFS, PAN (of IRS-1C/1D satellites), MODIS (Terra, Aqua), SAR (Radarsat), MSU-E (Resurs O1-3/4, Meteor-3M), AVHRR (NOAA). Besides, the ScanMagic makes it possible to overlay vector maps on raster images from prevailing formats (ESRI Shape File, ArcInfo Coverage, Microstation DGN, MapInfo MIF/MID, MapInfo TAB, USGS SDTS VTP, etc.)

ScanMagic® provides for the export of multi-band input and transformed images to generic and GIS formats with radiometric resolution of up to 16 bit. It also provides for the export of map-oriented images to widely used GIS packages and image processing systems such as ESRI, ENVI, ERDAS, PCI, ERMAPPER, etc.

ScanMagic® supports standard processing and printing procedures for full images and their subsets including parameters adjustment and preview.
